Electricity restored to 33,000 families in the Donetsk region: DTEK restored power to 14 settlements

On May 25, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 14 settlements in the Donetsk region. Despite the extremely difficult situation in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids energy workers managed to restore electricity to homes of more than 33,000 families in the Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company continue to restore electricity as soon as it becomes possible.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have completely or partially restored service to residents of 14 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 33,551 families in Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Pokrovsk and Volnovakha districts. The majority – in the Kramatorsk district.

311 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation remains near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Velyka Novosilka, where active hostilities and constant shelling frequently damage power lines. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
