DTEK Dnipro Grids received a set of equipment that will help repair one of the substations in the region
The enemy constantly attacks Dnipropetrovsk region, affecting both its residents and energy infrastructure. In particular, this March russians hit one of the substations in the region, destroying basic electrotechnical equipment. Energy workers, with the help of a set of current transformers and a circuit breaker, provided by the international donors, will now be able to restore operation of the power facility.
“We are grateful to the Energy Community and to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine for the provided humanitarian aid that will allow us to repair an important substation of the region, thus we will improve reliability of power supply for almost 22,000 residents. Additionally, we will provide an opportunity to work normally for two hospitals, a bakery and waterworks that are connected to this substation. This is critically needed for the life of the region in winter,” – noted DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.
Since the beginning of a full-scale war, 40 substations and distribution points of DTEK Dnipro Grids have been damaged. The company requires further international support for repair of all damaged power facilities.
