Another enemy shelling that damaged equipment of the power generating enterprise last night caused de-energization of the southern part of the Donetsk region. In just an hour, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore operation of four high-voltage substations and restore electricity to homes of more than 30,000 families. Operation of 13 more substations has been restored by morning, thus restoring electricity to homes of 40,000 families. Energy workers continue to work on restoration of electricity to more than 3,000 families.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to escalation of hostilities, constant shelling, missile and air strikes. Due to ongoing damage of energy equipment, 151 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Energy workers are working 24/7 and doing everything possible to provide electricity to every home. Only together and with joint efforts will we be able to endure and overcome these dark times!
