DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 26,400 homes in the Donetsk region after the hurricane
Stormy wind that started on Monday night caused large-scale falling of trees and broken power lines in the region. Thousands of homes were left without electricity.
Nearly 70 crews of DTEK Donetsk Grids worked on power restoration in the region. As of now, energy workers managed to restore power to homes of more than 26,400 customers.
The specialists restored operation of almost 419 transformer substations and 47 power lines of various voltage class, thus restoring electricity to 51 settlements, de-energized due to bad weather.
Our crews have already completed restoration activities on the majority of the high and medium voltage lines and are currently eliminating individual emergencies on the 0.4 kV grids.
Meanwhile, hostilities in the Donetsk region do not subside. The enemy continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, destroying grids and energy equipment as well. Energy workers continue to work and repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.
