DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 33 settlements over the course of two days

On April 22 and 23, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 33 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling of the region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 8,000 families. Specialists of the energy company make every effort to restore electricity in the Donetsk region once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to conduct a number of grids repairs and restore electricity to 33 settlements in the frontline region, thus restoring power to 8,036 families in the Donetsk region. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to constant shelling. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 15 times yesterday. Pokrovsk in particular, was hit by an air strike. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 791 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
