DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power supply to 9 settlements over the course of two days

Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to perform repair of a number of grids and equipment, damaged by shelling, and restore electricity to residents of 9 settlements, despite the difficult situation in the region, thus restoring power to homes of almost 4,000 families. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

On October 7 and 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, were able to access a number of damages and restore operation of equipment, thus completely or partially restoring electricity to 9 settlements. Electricity has been restored to 3,967 families. 

The enemy continues to attack peaceful towns and villages in the Donetsk region. Shelling and destruction are ongoing.  

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military permit and are working non-stop for 959 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
