DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to 2,700 families in the Donetsk region

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews continued repairs of grids after shelling. Energy workers managed to restore electricity to homes of 2,700 families. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the Donetsk region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

On August 30, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to repair a number of grids damages and restored power to homes of 2,761 families in the frontline region. 

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 19 times yesterday. 

Constant shelling continues to destroy grids and equipment. Meanwhile, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and are working non-stop for 920 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
