Despite the threats of hostilities, the company implements all required measures to ensure reliability of power supply in the capital: scheduled works on the equipment, repairs and modernization. Together with city authorities, all services of the enterprise are preparing the infrastructure in Kyiv for all possible scenarios. Energy workers are doing everything in their power to provide Kyivans with access to electricity and heating.

“Despite all difficulties, we have prepared the city grids for winter. They are now ready to transmit all power, required by the city during the winter. For this purpose, our specialists upgraded 660 power facilities – substations, transformers and distribution points, completed 3,924 repairs of cable lines, and cleared 104 kilometers of lines from shrubs. DTEK was a reliable support of Ukrainians during the last autumn-winter period and is now doing everything possible to go through this winter, too,” – noted Denys Bondar, CEO at DTEK Kyiv Grids.

In case of any changes to the situation in the energy industry, the company developed schedules of stabilization shutdowns. If required, they will be applied based on Ukrenergo commands related to limitation of power supply by lines during the day. The schedules are available on the company’s website.

DTEK Kyiv Grids reminds that in order to obtain reliable information about the condition of the city grids, emergency power outages and time required for power restoration one should use official company’s channels only: website, Facebook page, call center.

As previously noted, since the beginning of 2024, DTEK Kyiv Grids restored operation of 5 transformer substations and 9 power lines that were damaged by the enemy missile strikes, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 300,000 residents of the capital after missile attacks in Kyiv.
