DTEK restored electricity to 23,000 customers in the Dnipropetrovsk region after bad weather
Bad weather that started on the night of November 29 caused lots of fallen trees and broken power lines in the region. Thousands of homes were left without electricity.
37 crews of DTEK Dnipro Grids (113 employees and 39 items of machinery) were engaged for prompt elimination of emergencies. They worked in the high alert mode to energize the grid as soon as possible. By 14:30 on Wednesday, energy workers managed to restore power to more than 7,000 customers, and by the end of the day – restore electricity to another 16,000 homes in the region.
Energy workers restored operation of 53 power lines and about 500 transformer substations. Electricity has been restored to 106 settlements that were completely or partially de-energized.
Repair crews restored operation of all damaged medium-voltage lines and substations and are now eliminating individual emergencies on the 0.4 kV grids.
Let us remind that strong gusts of wind may cause fallen trees and broken wires. During bad weather, please be careful, follow safety rules and do not approach the power lines.
