DTEK brings back light: power supply restored to more than 192,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region in November

Over the past month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews restored power to more than 192,000 homes in the region that were without electricity due to the damage of lines and power facilities by shelling. Specialists commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The enemy continues to carry out systematic attacks on civil and power facilities of the Dnipropetrovsk region, directing missiles and drones on the region, firing artillery from the occupied territories. Shelling regularly affects lines and equipment, leaving residents without electricity. 

In November, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 192,193 families in the region, whose homes were de-energized due to enemy attacks. Last week alone, electricity has been restored to more than 11,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region. 

Emergency crews commence repairs of the grid after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. However, work in the frontline zone is always risky. Last week, russian drones again attacked the energy workers crew during repairs. 

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, energy workers have restored electricity to a total of more than 2.9 mln households in the Dnipropetrovsk region*.
