Over the course of a week, DTEK energy workers have restored electricity to 114,000 families that were left without power supply due to enemy shelling. From November 13 to 19, our specialists have repaired the grids in 210 settlements of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES.

Donetsk region remains an arena of hostilities. Constant shelling damages energy equipment on a daily basis here. Our specialists restore power supply once it becomes possible. Last week, they have restored operation of the grids for 108,600 families.

Odesa region suffers from missile strikes. In particular, enemy attacks left 2,100 families without power supply last week. Energy workers have promptly repaired the damage and restored power to homes of residents of the Odesa region, affected by the attacks.

The south of the Dnipropetrovsk region suffers from regular shelling as well. Over the course of a week, electricity supply had to be restored to 3,700 families, whose homes were de-energized due to hostilities.

“For 635 days energy workers have been holding the energy front and providing Ukrainians with electricity in conditions of increased risks. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, we have restored electricity to 9.4 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
