The crews worked in the high alert mode. The company has recalled all operational personnel from days-off and vacations. 178 crews (618 employees and 183 items of machinery) worked on the lines on a daily basis.

“Bad weather led to unprecedented damage, affecting more than half of all customers in Odesa and region. The works were complicated by two-meter-high snow drifts in the fields, frozen roads and huge trees that were literally breaking power lines. Nevertheless, we deployed all possible resources and managed to overcome the consequences of bad weather. We are grateful to our colleagues from Mykolaiv region, utility company “Odesamisksvitlo” and contracting organizations. As well as to the local authorities, who helped get to the emergencies in the most inaccessible locations,” – underscored DTEK Odesa Grids.
