DTEK energy workers restored power supply after shelling to 18,700 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region

On September 9, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repaired a number of grids damages, caused by enemy shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of 18,700 families in 8 settlements of the region. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The enemy continues to mercilessly attack the Dnipropetrovsk region. The shelling constantly damages lines and equipment. 

Despite all challenges, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair damaged power facilities and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The works are carried out immediately after obtaining permission for repairs from the AFU and SES. 

Yesterday, energy workers managed to restore operation of grids in 8 settlements of the region and restore electricity to homes of 18,772 families, de-energized by shelling. 

Power supply in the affected districts is now fully restored.
