DTEK energy workers restored electricity to almost 1,300 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region after latest shelling

Yesterday, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to homes of almost 1,300 families in 4 settlements of the region, affected by enemy attacks. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

On August 8, Dnipropetrovsk region was again attacked by the enemy UAV and artillery. The shelling damaged grid facilities in 4 settlements in the south of the region. 

DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers commenced repairs immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Over the course of the day, electricity has been restored to 1,284 de-energized homes. 

370 homes remain without power supply. The specialists are working to energize them as soon as possible.
