Last week, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 47,900 homes, de-energized due to bad weather and shelling

From November 18 to 25, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews continued to repair the grids, de-energized due to enemy attacks, and fought the consequences of the hurricane. They managed to restore electricity to residents of 119 settlements over the course of the week, thus restoring access to power supply for 47,900 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Despite heavy fighting in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to eliminate the consequences of shelling and completely or partially restore power to residents of 58 settlements over the course of the week, thus restoring electricity to 15,920 families, whose homes were de-energized after enemy strikes in the Donetsk region. Including the weekend, when energy workers restored power to 1,100 families in 5 settlements, de-energized due to enemy shelling. 

Stormy wind and rain also added work for the energy workers last week. During bad weather, specialists of the energy company managed to restore electricity to 32,000 homes in 61 settlements, de-energized due to the hurricane. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of highly active hostilities. Damage of the energy infrastructure due to constant shelling continues. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,007 days now and repairing equipment and lines immediately once it becomes possible.
