DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 11 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region after enemy attacks on the power facilities

On November 6, DTEK Dnipro Grids restored power to homes of 16,700 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, left without electricity due to hostilities. Electricity has been restored to 11 settlements of the region that were completely or partially de-energized. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Yesterday, an enemy attack on the power facilities near the area of hostilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region left 11 settlements in the south of the region completely or partially without electricity. The workers of the power facilities were not injured. 

Once the security situation allowed, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews commenced restoration of power supply in the affected districts. By the end of the day, electricity has been restored to all 16,700 homes of de-energized residents. 

The aggressor continues to shell Dnipropetrovsk region damaging power facilities and leaving residents without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. Energy workers commence repairs immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES.
