From December 23 to 29, energy workers of the DTEK Grids DSO managed to completely or partially restore power to 33 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 30,000 families in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

Enemy attacks on the energy infrastructure continued last week. And energy workers continued repairing grids and equipment, damaged by shelling. Last week particularly, despite all security challenges, they managed to restore power to almost 16,000 homes of local residents in the Donetsk region, which remains the region of the most active hostilities.

Besides, from December 23 to 29, energy workers managed to restore electricity to almost 14,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, whose homes were de-energized due to recent enemy shelling. The enemy does not stop shelling the Dnipropetrovsk region, regularly damaging girds and leaving residents of the region without electricity.

“Despite all risks, energy workers continue to hold the energy front for 1,041 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to 16.4 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
