Consequences of bad weather and shelling: DTEK energy workers restored electricity to almost 105,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region yesterday
Stormy wind and heavy rain caused a number of destructions in the Dnipropetrovsk region: fallen trees, damaged power lines and equipment. Nearly 111 crews and 132 items of special machinery of DTEK Dnipro Grids worked on restoration of power supply. Yesterday, they managed to eliminate most of the damages. The specialists repaired 171 power lines and more than 2,600 transformer substations and restored power to 369 settlements of the region, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 98,000 families, de-energized due to bad weather. Energy workers continue to work on restoration of power supply to another 33 power lines and 180 substations and restoration of electricity to 5,500 homes of residents that still remain without electricity. The specialists are doing everything possible to energize them as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer enemy shelling. Yesterday, energy workers managed to restore power to 5 settlements, de-energized due to enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to 6,700 homes. Power supply to the affected districts is now fully restored.
