Despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 6,600 homes

On April 25, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to eliminate equipment damage, caused by shelling, wherever it was possible, thus restoring power to homes of 6,600 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region in order to support local residents in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Despite constant shelling and difficult situation in the Donetsk region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to repair a number of damages, thus restoring power to 6,624 families in the Donetsk region. 

Donetsk region remains an area of the most active hostilities. Constant shelling, intensified missile and air strikes continue to destroy peaceful towns and, among other things, energy infrastructure. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 793 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
