One of the DTEK Dnipro Grids crews that was performing repairs near the area of hostilities was again attacked in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Energy workers were repairing the damaged power line when they were attacked by enemy drones. One of the UAVs dropped explosives near the crew’s vehicle, damaging its windshield. Fortunately, energy workers managed to find cover in time and remained unharmed.

The company works in accordance with the special works authorization procedure in order to keep its employees as safe as possible. Emergency crews commence grid repairs only after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Additionally, energy workers are working in special hardhats and bullet-proof vests.

However, the enemy does not stop attacking the region, thus often leaving the emergency crew with no time to get to safety.

Nevertheless, energy workers of the Dnipropetrovsk region continue to work, often risking their lives to provide residents of the region with electricity. Last week, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to more than 20,000 families, left without electricity due to enemy shelling
