Electricity restored to 4,300 families in the Donetsk region: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues repairing the grids after shelling

On April 20, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, were able to access a number of grids damages and repair it, thus restoring power to homes of 4,300 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission to commence restoration activities.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to eliminate a number of grids damages after shelling, thus restoring access to power supply for 4,307 families, whose homes were de-energized due to shelling. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to shelling. According to the National Police, 10 settlements of the Donetsk region were shelled yesterday. A total of 1,600 episodes of enemy shelling were registered yesterday. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 788 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
