On May 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to eliminate a number of grids and equipment damages and restore power to 3 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 7,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored power to 3 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 7,430 families.

The ongoing shelling in the Donetsk region continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, demolishing energy infrastructure in particular. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 816 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
