Electricity restored to almost 3,000 homes: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restoring the grids after shelling

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists obtained permission of the military and repaired a number of grids, affected by shelling, thus restoring power to homes of almost 3,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

On April 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored power to 1 settlement, affected by consequences of constant hostilities, thus restoring electricity to homes of 2,778 families in the frontline region. 

Hostilities in the Donetsk region remain active. Shelling, missile and air strikes continue. According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the region, settlements of the region were shelled by the enemy 18 times yesterday. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 786 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
