DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 19,400 homes yesterday
Donetsk region continues to suffer from constant enemy attacks that destroy the energy system, in particular. Emergency and repair crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.
Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 23 settlements in the frontline region, thus restoring access to electricity for 19,405 homes.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to constant enemy shelling. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, russians shelled settlements of the region 18 times over the course of the day. Energy workers have been working non-stop for 1,124 days and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
