DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to more than 18,000 homes over the course of the day

On April 17, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct repairs of the equipment, damaged by shelling, and restore power to 41 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 18,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Specialists of the energy company are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the Donetsk region once it becomes possible.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 41 settlements of the Donetsk region, de-energized due to constant shelling of the region, thus restoring power to 18,670 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult due to active hostilities. According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the region, settlements of the region were shelled 17 times yesterday. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 785 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
