On April 11, emergency crews of DTEK energy workers have restored service to 4,611 families in 31 settlements of the Kyiv region, left without electricity during active hostilities. Energy workers continue repairing grids in towns and villages, liberated from russian invaders by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and cleared of mines by the Ukrainian military. Yesterday, they also restored power to the gas distribution plant in Ploske of the Brovary district. Emergency and restoration activities in the region continue, once the crews are enabled to safely perform them.

On April 11, DTEK electricians managed to restore power to 4,611 families in 31 settlements of the Kyiv region. In particular, in the Bucha district service was partially restored to Irpin, Bucha, Havronschyna, Ternopilske, Fasivochka, Buzova, Hurivschina, Liubymivka, Dmytrivka, Kapitanivka, Myla, Petrushki and Iasnohorodka. While in the Brovary district service was partially restored to Velyka Dymerka, Bobryk, Bohdanivka, Peremoha and Mriya. Energy workers were allowed to restore damaged grids after the Armed Forces of Ukraine forced back the attack of russian invaders and cleared these territories of mines. Company’s specialists inspect lines on a daily basis and gradually repair electrical infrastructure in towns and villages of the region.

In the course of the past 24 hours, DTEK specialists have also restored power to the gas distribution point in Ploske of the Brovary district.

DTEK emergency crews continue restoring power to settlements in the Kyiv region that were liberated from russian invaders by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Energy workers of all DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators rallied to restore everything that was destroyed by the invaders. DTEK energy workers from Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as the city of Kyiv are helping to restore damaged grids in the Kyiv region.

Electricians inspect energy equipment and perform restoration activities. Emergency and restoration crews start their work immediately after mine clearance of these territories. First, company’s specialists restore 110-35 kV high-voltage grids that supply power to the settlements. Then, they start restoring 10-0.4 kV distribution grids that supply power directly to residential buildings.

On April 12, DTEK energy workers plan to perform power restoration activities in 34 more settlements of Brovary, Bucha and Vyshhorod districts.

The company cooperates with the Territorial Defense Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to access damaged sites. DTEK electricians jointly with doctors, volunteers and suppliers of the essential food and medications do everything in their power to support Ukraine and Ukrainians in these difficult circumstances.

Residents of 279 settlements in Kyiv region remain without electricity.

Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 48 days in a row in order to promptly restore power supply to settlements in Kyiv region, affected by hostilities.
