How to save on electricity using the “Day/Night” meter, – tells DTEK Dnipro Grids

With the onset of cold weather, families use more and more electrical devices: heaters, electric kettles, boilers, etc. Installation of “Day/Night” meter will help save on the consumed electricity due to a more favorable night tariff: from 23:00 to 7:00 kilowatt-hours cost 50% less. Then, you will save 79 UAH on electricity bills, providing overall monthly consumption of 200 kW-h, 198 UAH at 500 kW-h, 317 UAH at 800 kW-h. Programming all possible equipment to work at night will save even more. 

Installing “Day/Night” meter is enough to start saving on electricity. The fastest and easiest way for residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region to do it is via their Distribution System Operator – DTEK Dnipro Grids. The specialist completes all required works in one visit.

You buy a meter from us – we do everything on a turnkey basis: programming the device for day/night tariff, dismantling the old meter, installing and sealing the new one. The customer does not have to go in details and spend his personal time to arrange connection of the meter,” – informed the company

  • select a service and fill in the application;  
  • receive the bill and the date of request fulfilment on your email;  
  • pay the bill;

The cost of the complex service that includes the meter itself, services related to dismantling of the old device, installation of the new one, sealing and programming for work in the day/night mode is:  

  • for 1-phase meter (220V) –3,499 UAH;  
  • for 3-phase meter (380V) – 6,199 UAH;

*“Day/Night” meter is a two-zone meter that registers volume of electricity consumption separately during the day and during the night. From 23:00 to 7:00 the cost of consumed electricity for owners of the meter is 50% less than during other periods of the day.
