DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 2,700 homes over the course of the day

On November 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 8 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for 2,770 families. 

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. According to the General Staff, shelling of the region continues. In particular, air strikes alone hit 12 settlements in the Donetsk region. 

Hostilities in the Donetsk region constantly damage grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 624 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
