Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 27,000 homes, de-energized due to bad weather and shelling
On April 21, bad weather added some work for the DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews – gale force wind was breaking branches and knocking down trees, causing a series of power outages. Over the course of the day, energy workers restored electricity to 30 settlements, de-energized due to bad weather, thus restoring power to 15,500 homes. Specialists of the energy company continue to work on restoration of electricity to 913 families.
Meanwhile, active hostilities are ongoing in the Donetsk region. Constant shelling continues to destroy the energy system of the region. Yesterday, energy workers managed to restore electricity to homes of 11,669 families in one settlement, affected by shelling.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 789 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
