DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 7,900 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

On January 15, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 7,900 families, whose homes were de-energized due to enemy shelling. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from russian shelling that destroys electrical infrastructure of towns and villages among other things. The most difficult situation remains in the south of the region, which the enemy attacks daily from the occupied territories. 

Yesterday, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 7,913 families, left without electricity due to hostilities. 

Energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. The works are commenced immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. 

Nearly 1,600 families currently remain without power supply. Energy workers are working to energize them as soon as possible.
