DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to almost 4,000 homes over the course of two days

On February 4 and 5, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continued to repair lines and equipment, damaged by shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 4,000 families, de-energized due to enemy shelling. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

For the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continued to work despite all security challenges. During this time, they managed to restore electricity to 6 settlements, thus restoring power to 3,935 homes of residents of the Donetsk region. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. The enemy continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, including the energy infrastructure. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the Donetsk region 14 times yesterday. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and have been working non-stop for 1,079 days now. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
