DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to more than 277,000 families in November

Despite active hostilities that continue in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore power to residents of 560 settlements* in November, thus restoring electricity to more than 277,000 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance. Since February 24 last year, energy workers have restored electricity to a running total of 6.2 mln families.

Active hostilities were underway in the Donetsk region In November. Shelling, missile and air strikes continued. The energy infrastructure was being damaged on a daily basis. Despite all difficulties, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to homes of 277,676 families in 560 settlements last month.

In particular, last week alone specialists of the energy company have restored electricity to 70,000 families in 127 settlements of the Donetsk region.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. According to the National Police, yesterday the enemy launched 17 strikes on the civil population in the Donetsk region. 7 settlements were shelled.

Shelling constantly damages the energy system of the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
