DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored electricity to more than 8,000 households in the Donetsk region over the course of a day

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 2 settlements in Toretsk community, thus restoring electricity to 8,163 families in the Bakhmut district.

Constant hostilities cause larger and larger damages to grids and equipment. Nevertheless, energy workers manage to conduct restoration activities where shelling subsides and the military permit.

79 settlements remain without electricity, as energy workers do not have a permit for work performance from the military and are unable to work there. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, Marinka and Lyman. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
