Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 36,500 homes in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to shelling
From October 14 to 20, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 71 settlements despite the ongoing heavy fighting in the region and destructions. Power supply has been restored to homes of 36,500 families, de-energized due to shelling in the Donetsk region.
In particular, energy workers managed to restore electricity to 12,800 families in 52 settlements over the weekend.
Heavy fighting in the Donetsk region continues. The enemy does not stop attacking day and night using artillery, among other things, which often does not give energy workers any time to get to safety. Nevertheless, energy workers continue to work for 971 days now and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once the situation and the military allow.
