Last week, energy workers of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators (DSO) were able to restore power to residents of 101 settlements, affected by enemy strikes, thus restoring electricity to homes of more than 55,000 families in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kyiv regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids DSO repair the grids immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

From September 15 to 21, energy workers were able to restore power to 45,100 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The enemy is constantly shelling the Dnipropetrovsk region, regularly causing damage to the grids and power outages for the region’s residents.

Last week, specialists in the Donetsk region, where the situation becomes increasingly difficult, managed to restore electricity to homes of 7,300 families of local residents. Despite constant danger, our energy workers continue to restore electricity in the region once it becomes possible.

The Kyiv region continues to suffer from enemy attacks too. Last week, specialists of the energy company were able to restore electricity to 2,900 homes here.

“The enemy does not stop attacking peaceful towns and villages of our country. Despite constant danger, energy workers continue to work and restore electricity for as long as 1,307 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 21.6 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Alina Bondarenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

Energy workers of DTEK Grids DSO are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
