From September 30 to October 6, energy workers of the DTEK Grids DSO managed to completely or partially restore power to 347 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 246,000 families in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv and Odesa regions. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and the SES.

Donetsk region remains the nucleus of the most active hostilities with daily shelling, missile, drone and air strikes. Despite an extremely difficult situation, our specialists continue to repair the grids once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance. Last week, they managed to restore power to homes of almost 153,000 local residents.

The enemy shells Dnipropetrovsk region more and more often, constantly damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity. From September 30 to October 6, our specialists here managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to 73,100 families.

Odesa region continues to suffer from enemy attacks, too. Last week, energy workers here restored electricity to 18,100 families, whose homes were de-energized due to enemy attacks.

Kyiv region was also subjected to enemy attacks last week. From September 30 to October 6, our specialists restored electricity to homes of 1,600 families of local residents, whose homes were de-energized by shelling.

“Despite constant enemy attacks and security challenges, energy workers continue to hold the energy front for 957 days now. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have already restored electricity to more than 14.9 mln* families in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions, and in the city of Kyiv. Some settlements close to the area of hostilities had electricity restored to them on dozens of occasions,” – noted Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO at DTEK Grids.

DTEK Grids energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
