DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to 11,600 families yesterday

On September 14, despite constant shelling of the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to conduct a number of grids repairs after shelling and restore power to 57 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 11,600 families of residents of the frontline region. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists completely or partially restored power to 57 settlements, de-energized due to constant enemy attacks, thus restoring electricity to homes of 11,593 families.

Heavy fighting in the Donetsk region is ongoing. Artillery shelling, drone, missile and air strikes continue too. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 18 times yesterday.

Meanwhile, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continue repairs once the situation and the military allow and are working non-stop for 935 days in a row. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
