DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 40,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region over the course of a week

From November 6 to 12, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of grids repairs, thus restoring electricity to homes of residents of 69 settlements. Power supply has been restored to more than 40,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the week, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 69 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 40,295 families in the frontline Donetsk region. 

Including the weekend, when energy workers were able to repair a number of damages and restore electricity to almost 23,000 families in 24 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling. 

Besides, energy workers continued to restore power to families, affected by the aftermath of bad weather in the Donetsk region. Yesterday, electricity has been restored to more than 16,000 families in 74 settlements, de-energized due to storm wind. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult due to intensification of hostilities. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 629 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
