Electricity restored to 2,800 families: DTEK Donetsk Grids continues restoring the grids

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to access a number of grids damages and repair it, thus restoring power to homes of 2,800 families, de-energized due to constant hostilities. Energy workers commence repairs once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

On April 24, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continued repairs of the grids, damaged by shelling, thus restoring electricity to 2,843 families in the frontline Donetsk region. 

Donetsk region remains an area of the most active hostilities. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy shelled settlements of the region 15 times yesterday. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 792 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
