1,441 power facilities are operating again: the scope of grids restorations after hostilities in 2025 have already matched last year’s — DTEK Grids
From January to June 2025, specialists of DTEK Grids DSO managed to repair a total of 1,298 power lines with a length of over 3,300 km and 143 substations, and transformer and distribution points after enemy attacks on the capital, as well as Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions.
“While only half of the 2025 passed, the scope of grids, restored after shelling, almost matched the last year’s. Despite constant attacks, providing everyone with electricity remains our primary task. Over these 6 months, our energy workers restored power supply to more than 3 million Ukrainians*. Unfortunately, the price of electricity can be too high – in February, an auto crane operator Hennadii Musatov was killed by shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region,” — noted DTEK Grids CEO Alina Bondarenko.
DTEK Grids DSO repair crews commence work immediately after obtaining permission from the military and SES. Currently, 98% of all power facilities, which suffered destruction due to hostilities since February 24, 2022, have been repaired. The other 2% are impossible to repair yet due to the security situation and lack of required equipment.
Our energy workers are doing everything possible to provide electricity to every home.
