DTEK Dnipro Grids is upgrading the grids and the energy infrastructure of Synelnykove and neighboring settlements. To enhance reliability in power grids, power engineers repaired 23 km of overhead lines, replaced 47 power towers, and built 14 new transformer substations. More than 300 residential and legal clients have already been connected to the new substations. Such upgrade not only ensures the power supply reliability, but also creates additional reserve capacity for existing and new connections.

Before the autumn and winter period, the quality and uninterrupted supply of electricity are becoming a prerequisite for the comfort of the Sinelnikovsky District residents, since more and more people choose individual electric heating for their houses and apartments. To ensure reliable power supply, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists are modernizing power lines and installing new transformer substations. Two of these have been installed in Synelnykove since the beginning of the year. Other four substations are in the Illarionove town, three substations are in the Grushevato-Krinichne village, one each in Mykhailivka, Vilne, Pershozvanivka, Lubyanka and Novognide.

«DTEK Dnipro Grids is a socially reliable company, and we serve the interests of Ukraine and consistently upgrade the energy infrastructure of the region, making it more modern. Before the new heating season, we have installed 14 new transformer substations, repaired more than 23 kilometers of overhead power lines, and installed more than 13 kilometers of new medium and low voltage networks in Synelnykove District. In total, we are investing about one and a half million hryvnias in the energy infrastructure of Synelnykove District in 2020,” says Andrii Tereshchuk, DTEK Dnipro Grids Director General.

The company's specialists replaced outdated aluminum wires with advanced XLPE insulated aerial bundled cables within 7 km of lines. They have great capacity. They are also durable and safe, as they are resistant to corrosion and temperature extremes, guaranteeing a reliable power supply for customers. All defective power towers were replaced within the area of concern; almost fifty new ones were installed.
