Electricity has been restored to 1,500 families in the Donetsk region – DTEK Donetsk Grids

On December 10, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to six settlements in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to hostilities, thus restoring electricity to 1,500 families. Specialists of the energy company commence repairs immediately, once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Despite shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to residents of six settlements, thus restoring electricity to 1,571 families over the course of a day. According to the head of the Donetsk region Pavlo Kyrylenko, Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts of the region were heavily shelled yesterday.

96 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
