On October 25, NPC Ukrenergo has introduced stabilization power cutoffs in the Donetsk region to avoid emergencies

Thermal power generation25 October 2022
Due to significant damage of the energy infrastructure, caused by enemy shelling, stabilization power cutoffs have been introduced in the Donetsk region today at 9:25 in accordance with NPC Ukrenergo order.

Due to significant destruction of the energy infrastructure in the Donetsk region, temporary power cutoffs are now taking place in communities of Bakhmut, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Volnovakha districts. Please visit our website for more details.

Familiarize yourself with it in advance, tell about it to your neighbors, especially seniors, and to those who, for some reason, do not have access to the internet.

The company is making every effort for power cutoffs to last approximately 4 hours. However, it may repeat over the course of a day, if Ukrenergo does not cancel application of stabilization cutoffs. Please note: there may be a minor inaccuracy within 30-40 min, required for reconnection of power supply between groups of consumers.

We promptly notify about introduction and cancellation of power cutoffs via DTEK Donetsk Grids website and Facebook. Details are also available in Viber or Telegram chatbots, titled “DTEK Donetsk Grids”, or by calling +38 (093/096/099) 450 0 473.

In order to support the energy system we urge all residents of the Donetsk region to consume electricity reasonably – not to switch on energy-consuming devices simultaneously and minimize electricity consumption from 6.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 23.00 in the evening.

These simple steps will help reduce the need for power cutoffs or a number of disconnected houses. This is now the best support of energy workers, who are working 24/7 and are doing everything possible to ensure that everyone has electricity at home.

Take care of yourself and your family!

We believe in Victory!
