On November 26, DTEK energy workers have repaired a power line that supplies electricity to the south of the Kherson region
As of 11:00, they managed to energize a key substation and a local heat network, as well as other important critical infrastructure facilities in the south of the Kherson region.
DTEK Odesa Grids crew helped repair damaged grids in the south of the Kherson region. 10 energy workers have repaired 8 km of 150 kV power lines in 7 days and today, November 26, they have completed restoration activities, thus making it possible to energize a substation that supplies electricity to a large part of Kherson, heat network and other important critical infrastructure facilities in this part of the region.
“Today, our crew has completed repair of the 150 kV line and we are confident that electricity will be restored to residents of the city of Kherson in the coming days,” – informed DTEK Grids CEO Oleksandr Fomenko.
DTEK crews are also working in the north of the Kherson region in order to restore power to Beryslav and other settlements of the region. 40 energy workers of DTEK Dnipro Grids have already restored over 30 km of power lines in this part of the region in 9 days.
Energy workers are working with sappers, as there are many mines in the de-occupied region.
