Electricity restored to 7,000 families: DTEK continues restoration in the Donetsk region
Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to residents of 20 settlements in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts (the majority – in the latter), thus restoring electricity to 7,133 families.
For example, in less than 24 hours electricity was restored to 3,800 families in the areas of Avdiivka and Bakhmut, which are being shelled constantly.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains stably difficult, especially in the north, causing large-scale damage to energy infrastructure of the region and energy enterprises. We ask residents of the Donetsk region to treat power supply issues with understanding, as repaired lines are being damaged again and again.
319 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity due to hostilities. The most difficult situation is in the areas of Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform repairs.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 119 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines again and again, as soon as it becomes possible.
