Funds for renewing the vehicle fleet were provided in the DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids investment program for 2021.

DTEK strives to become the benchmark for customer focus. The new vehicles will allow to respond to requests from the Kyiv Region residents regarding the metering devices more quickly. In addition, the renewed vehicle fleet consumes less fuel than the previous cars - Niva, GAZ and UAZ, and therefore less pollutes the atmosphere with CO2 emissions. The 21 new Fiat Doblo Cargo is only the first part of the company's current vehicle renovation plan. In total, there will be 30 new units by the end of the year,” says Vitaliy Shaida, CEO of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids.

By the end of this year, the company will purchase 9 more specialized vehicles. Namely, a JCB excavator, 3 IVECO Daly 18m towers for overhead power lines maintenance and 1 IVECO Eurocargo 4x4 30m tower, 2 drilling and crane installations based on the XTA-200 tractor for work in distribution networks and 1 laboratory based on Peugeot BOXER, which will help the workers find damage to the insulation of cable lines, 1 new IVECO Stralis truck with a crane-manipulator to replace the old URAL-4320. Such a renewal will enhance the company's responsiveness to customer requests and the speed of emergency response.
