DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 6,000 families in the Donetsk region

On January 28, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to repair equipment and grids and restore power to more than 6,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Energy workers commence restorations immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance in order to support residents of the region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to access a number of damaged grids and repair them, thus restoring electricity to homes of 6,372 families.

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy offensive is ongoing in Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions. The enemy is defending in the Lyman direction.

Due to constant shelling, 99 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
