DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to homes of 5,600 families

On January 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to 11 settlements, de-energized due to hostilities, thus restoring electricity to more than 5,600 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to promptly restore power to the frontline region once it becomes possible.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 11 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 5,637 families.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy concentrates main efforts on conducting an offensive on the Bakhmut direction and carries out offensive actions on the Avdiivka direction

Due to constant hostilities, 93 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
