DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to almost 10,000 homes over the course of two days

On April 1 and 2, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to conduct a number of grids repairs after shelling and restored electricity to 5 settlements, de-energized by shelling, thus restoring power to homes of almost 10,000 families. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once the shelling subsides and the military provide permission for work performance.

In the first days of April, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists continued to carry out repairs after enemy shelling. In particular, energy workers were able to restore power to residents of 5 settlements over the past two days, thus restoring electricity to 9,825 homes. 

Heavy fighting is ongoing in the Donetsk region. Constant shelling of the region, which is almost out of safe places, continues too. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, russians shelled settlements of the region 14 times over the course of the day. Energy workers have been working non-stop for 1,134 days and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, last month alone, specialists of the energy company managed to restore power to 173,000 homes, de-energized due to constant enemy attacks.
