Service is restored to almost 25,000 families: DTEK continues restoring electricity in the Donetsk region

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have restored electricity to more than 25,000 families in the Donetsk region. Yesterday, energy workers managed to completely or partially repair equipment and lines in 22 settlements of the region that suffered from hostilities. The company continues restoring electricity in the region, as soon as it becomes possible.

On May 3, emergency and repair crews have restored power to 22 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 25,394 families in Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and most of all in Pokrovsk districts.

Active military activities are underway in the region, regularly causing damage of power equipment and lines. 241 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation remains near Lyman, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka. Company’s specialists are waiting for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to perform repair of lines.
